OUR MISSION STATEMENT
We strive to provide the best possible care for all of our patients in a compassionate manner. We believe that honest communication between doctors and patients is vital and that doctors listening to patients is the most important part of that communication. We live for positive feedback about the quality of our care, but we also want to hear the negatives, so we can constantly improve the service we provide. We love our jobs and we believe it shows.
The physicians of Oklahoma City Anesthesia have been serving the patients of Lakeside Women’s Hospital since 2000.
BILLING AND COLLECTIONS
You will receive a bill for our services separate from your hospital bill.
BEFORE SURGERY
The anesthesiologists of Oklahoma City Anesthesia, PLLC contract with Lakeside Women’s Hospital to provide almost all of the anesthesia services for all procedures performed at the Hospital that require an anesthetic. We are not hospital employees and the hospital does not pay us for our services. Instead, you will receive a separate bill for our services. If you have commercial insurance or Medicare, we will bill your insurance company directly and bill you for the balance after your insurance company has paid. If you have Medicaid or Sooner Care, we will bill Sooner Care directly, but we will not bill you for any balance.
We participate in the following insurance plans:
Blue Cross, Health Choice, Medicare, Medicaid, Aetna, OSMA, Global Health, Multiplan, Preferred Community Choice and Community Care, Integris Health Partners, First Health, and United Healthcare.
If your insurance is not listed, check the company’s website to see if we are listed there. If we are not providers for your insurance, we will work with you to make sure you do not have to pay an exorbitant amount out of your own pocket.
If you do not have insurance, you will need to contact our office as early as possible before your delivery or surgery to arrange payment for your epidural or other anesthetic.
